“Starting here, they built a life they love.” Be Inspired THE FARMHOUSE Built in 1890, The Cedars farmhouse underwent a complete renovation and opened in early June 2020 to guests as an upscale elegant southern piece of architecture. While the renovations provide luxurious modern touches, preserving the original historic elements of the home offer a classic timeless setting. Original soaring tongue and groove ceilings, restored hardwood floors, and antique doors are just a few of the historical elements combined with high end fixtures and furnishings that make The Cedars farmhouse perfect for entertaining guests. THE BARN The Barn at The Cedars is truly one of a kind. Nestled in an idyllic natural setting, the rustic charm and spacious layout make the barn an ideal location for any event. The barn is climate controlled year round and features large stunning chandeliers and elegant draperies. Surrounded by spacious landscapes and patios, the barn offers beautiful and sophisticated country charm. THE CHAPEL One hundred yards west of the Farmhouse sits an original log barn built sometime around 1850. This barn sits in its original position alongside the remains of The Old Moscow Highway (later known as Dixie Overland Highway and then Highway 80). The barn was hand hewn from river birch logs.
