THE CHAPEL

One hundred yards west of the Farmhouse sits an original log barn built sometime around 1850. This barn sits in its original position alongside the remains of The Old Moscow Highway (later known as Dixie Overland Highway and then Highway 80). Moscow Highway led to the ferry crossing at Moscow Landing on the Tombigbee River to enter Sumter County. The barn was hand hewn from river birch logs. It is has been carefully restored for use as THE CHAPEL.
